    FOR MANY YEARS I PROVIDED MOTHER WITH MATERIAL FOR MAKING QUILTS AND EACH TIME SHE WOULD RECEIVE THE MATERIAL SHE WOULD SAY "NOW THIS QUILT IS YOURS" EVENTUALLY WHEN THE QUILT WAS MADE SOME FRIEND WOULD COME ALONG AND WANT THE QUILT AND AWAY IT WOULD GO. THIS GOT TO BE A JOKE BETWEEN US, WITH MY SAYING, "MOTHER I'LL NEVER GET ONE OF YOUR QUILTS" JUST MONTHS BEFORE SHE PASSED AWAY SHE CALLED ONE DAY FOR ME TO GO VISIT, WHEN I GOT THERE SHE PRESENTED ME WITH THIS, HER "LAST" QUILT. BY THIS TIME HER EYE SIGHT WAS FALLING AND SHE FOUND THE QUILTS TOO HEAVY TO MAKE. NOW I'M PROUD AND HAPPY TO POSSESS HER LAST QUILT
