    PIECED, APPLIQUÉ AND QUILTED BY HAND. I STARTED MAKING THIS QUILT IN JAN, 1999 WHILE CONVALESCING FROM A BROKEN ANKLE, LUCKILY, FOR ME, I HAD THESE MATERIALS AT HOME, NONE OF WHICH WERE PURCHASED WITH THIS PROJECT IN MIND. THE DARK COLOURS REPRESENT THE DAYS OF DISCOMFORT, THE PINK -ROSIER DAYS, THE WINDOWS SHOWING LITTLE BIRDS, THE ANTICIPATION OF SPRING TIME, THE VINES, THE COMFORT RECEIVED FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS. TITLED "ANTICIPATION"
