    Quilt started in workshop in 2000 given by Margaret littler from Eleanor Burn's book "Grandmother's Garden Quilt". Quilting completed in spring 2004. Blue poppy block is there because my late husband's family is related to the Refords who own the Reford gardens / Les jardins de metis, and that is their floral symbol of the gardens.
