, ,How was the Quilt Acquired?:Gift from my fatherName of Maker:UnknownYear Made:1880'sOther notes:Quilt purchased by Tom then framed and displayed in Brospec boardroom so purchase date was estimated @ 1976 based when that could have happened. Quilt was then on display for 25 years. Auction info: Tom thought it was purchased as the family form Cecil + Florence Bryson, Ormsbrown, Qc (Byle Yraham Auctioneer) who were Mary Younie's parents. According to Mary, her father died in 1960 so the auction ,ust have been prior to 1970. She does not remember the quilt + since the dates do not match. The origin is still in question.
